SOFYA SKIDAN x RASAGAYA

The new RASAGAYA space opens with a collaboration with multidisciplinary artist Sofya Skidan. The project brings together natural artifacts from Bali — collected fragments of the landscape that carry traces of time, climate, and place, becoming integral elements of the installation.

Skidan’s work explores nostalgia for the natural landscape through the convergence of technogenic and physical nature, addressing corporeality and the agency of inanimate objects. Materials, bodies, and surfaces act as equal participants, shifting perception and and dissolving boundaries between the organic and the artificial.

Rooted in site-specific thinking, the works respond to light, space, and context, unfolding over time and outside the conditions of the white cube. RASAGAYA becomes a meeting point of art, environment, and embodied experience — a space where non-human matter holds memory, presence, and voice.
